Basically South Beach diet plan is a weight-loss plan that promotes healthy eating habits by persuading people to switch to a low fat diet rich in good fats like olive oil. Highly processed foods items like sweets, soft drinks or baked goods are not recommended; cutting down on the bad carbs would ultimately result in effective digestive process coupled with enhancement of insulin resistance, which leads to weight loss. The south beach diet plan has three different phases, which help you to cut down the bad fats in your diet. Phase 1 extends to a fortnight and is the most exacting of all the three. You have to make a deliberate attempt to cut out carbs such as potatoes, ice cream, pasta, alcohol, fruit or bread from your daily diet.
